So this is the tattoo I'm going to get....

The only problem is that I don't know anyone who can read Japanese. I found it on Google, and according to the site it means "Inner peace, Inner strength" but I want to know 100% for sure before I go putting something permanent on my body. For all I know it says something really obscene.

Hey Kev- do you have any linguist friends who know Japanese???

I know one guy but I haven't talked to him in a while (yeah, I know this is way late to be commenting on it). Those are chinese characters, except the second one is a little different.中子 is what it looks like in chinese...maybe 中字 (if you can read those on your comp), and as far as I know the Japanese shouldn't be written differently, so it could just be jacked up chinese characters (I doubt the tattoo artist can read chinese), but I'm not sure. The second one doesn't mean anything...the first one means neutron. In chinese the first character means center or middle...but the second one means either character (as in letter), or child.

I wouldn't worry about it saying anything obscene...if anything, it's just nonsense...but why would you want nonsense words as a tattoo either?
